GGFC has been a superb experience for our son. It is a serious but unpretentious place where the coaching staff live and love what they do. The school’s dual goal coaching, where they teach kids the value of sportsmanship, the grace of losing, and respect for the referees, the sport and the other participants, are a key element of why it has been such a good experience for us.
Fencing is a great sport and GGFC is THE place to go. The studio is big enough so you don’t have to wait for a strip. The coaches are highly skilled but never arrogant. You get challenged but you also receive a lot of support. I’ve been fencing there for more two years and I just have great things to say about GGFC.
Golden Gate Kiev Fencing Center
Founded in 1997, GGFC has taught thousands of children and adults to fence. Golden Gate Fencing Center is one of the largest and most prestigious fencing centers in the country and we have grown from 20 fencers practicing at an outdoor track to over 120 fencers training at all levels – beginning to Olympic. Our coaching staff includes members of national and world championship teams as well as two Olympic coaches. We have full locker rooms, a complete equipment repair facility and 9 electric fencing strips. If you or your children are interested in trying out the sport of champions, then GGFC is the place for you.
