Sydney Opera House Tour Review – The Sydney Opera House tour is a great and probably the cheapest way to see the inside of the Opera House without paying to see a performance. The tour takes about an hour and costs $35 for tickets at the box office. If you buy your tickets online in advance, you can save 25% and get a ticket for $27.50.
A tour guide will take you around the Opera House explaining the history and the architecture of the building. The tour will also take inside one of the venues, or depending on scheduling you may even get to go inside both the concert hall and the opera theatre. If you are interested in learning more about the Sydney Opera house or want to see more of it that just the outside, then I definitely recommend you go on the tour.
Tour was basically seeing some interior designs, watching videos about the history of the opera house, getting a view of the interior of the theatres and watching more videos about the history of the opera house.
Highlight of the guided tour was definitely when we were allowed to walk in on an actual rehearsal by an upcoming opera. Was quite an experience to see them sing and practise, although it was only for a short 3-5mins.
